Common Questions

Enrollment FAQs

What grades does PTSEC serve?

We serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with instruction tailored to each student’s true grade level in every subject.

Is PTSEC accredited?

Yes — we are Cognia-accredited (KG–12th grade), a nationally recognized mark of educational excellence, and our graduates earn a Florida high school diploma.

Do you accept scholarship students?

Yes. We accept Step Up For Students and AAA Scholarships. Many PTSEC families pay little to nothing out of pocket.

What is the class size?

We’re an intimate microschool with one-to-one teaching, so every student gets hands-on attention and works at their own pace.

Do you offer remote or hybrid learning?

Yes. We offer in-person, digital, and blended (hybrid) learning formats, plus options for independent study.

Can my child enroll mid-year?

Absolutely. We accept mid-year transfers and offer course makeup and credit recovery, with the option to return to public school if desired.

What curriculum do you use?

We use diagnostic assessments and individualized skill-building curriculum through Edmentum Exact Path, with true grade-level coursework in every subject.

How do I know if PTSEC is right for my child?

Book a tour! Meet our principal, see our classrooms, and ask anything — we want to make sure PTSEC is the right fit for your family before you enroll.
